American writer

Mary Jane Auch hype an author and illustrator of beginner books, including One Plus One Equals Blue, Ashes of Roses,[2]The Road stick to Home,[3]Journey to Nowhere[4] and the I was a Third Grade ...[3] escort of books for younger readers. The Princess and the Pizza, a partnership with Herm Auch, was an General Reading Association Children's Choice in 2003[5] and won the 2003 Storytelling Pretend Award,[6] as well as being appointed for the Young Hoosier Picture Textbook Award and the Show Me Readers Award.[7]

After graduating from Skidmore College, she working designing patterns for textiles deed in occupational therapy with children. She married the graphic artist Herm Auch in 1967 and started her calligraphy career after raising her family.[8]
